Alasdair Cunningham is the Director of Project Development at Charter. Alasdair started with Charter back in January 2011 and has performed a variety of assignments within the organization. Alasdair was a part of both the Estimating and Construction Operation Teams successfully bidding and constructing work, before beginning his journey with the Charter Development Team. He has successfully managed a diverse array of projects throughout New England and is currently responsible for developing project cost estimates, coordinating and managing field projects from pre-planning through project completion. As a Project Manager, he was responsible for managing a wide array of construction activities that include heavy civil construction; environmental remediation of soil, sediment and groundwater; abatement and demolition; excavation support; sediment handling, transport and disposal; and ecosystem restoration. He has proven his ability to produce quality projects, safely, on-budget and on-time. Alasdair is currently serving as the project lead on multiple fixed facilities in late-stage development, including landfill closure and redevelopment projects in Pawtucket, RI and Swansea, MA. He is also the Charter Development Brownfield lead on the TDC/XOM-Everett project team. Since joining the Charter Development team in 2020, Alasdair has played an instrumental role in the structuring, closing and implementation of several development-led projects throughout the Lynn Waterfront footprint.
